The consensus of my friends is that the integrity of the tire got compromised when it came off the rim at high speed. I need a new tire and tube. There is a motorcycle dealer about a mile away and they are open on Mondays, which is rare. I'm going to head over there at 9 and hope they take pity on me. With any luck they'll have a tire and tube and get me back on the road. If that doesn't work I may be in Bangor an extra day or have to rent a truck to get home.
